When I photographed my first wedding in 2014, I never imagined how much it would change my approach to photography for years to come. Of course, we all love to see the pretty photos after a couple ties the knot, but there is so much more to every union.

I’ve been brought to tears by the touching stories my couples share, I’ve seen loved ones travel from far and wide to be in the same room with each other for the first time in years to celebrate together, I’ve witnessed the unique ways couples have chosen to incorporate their culture, traditions and beliefs in their ceremonies.
