This simple cool whip pie was one of my favorite desserts as a kid! Today, as a woman who’s learning and struggling to cook, I can appreciate how easy (& affordable) it is to make. I whipped it up for the first time recently and followed the recipe provided by Kraft. I like my pies and cakes pretty plan so I went without the cherries and added a bit of vanilla. To ensure the pie was extremely creamy, I used a hand mixer. I waited for 5 hours before serving it to the teens at my job and it was the perfect consistency. We all LOVED it!
Using this post as a reference for future creations. The recipe is so simple, anything from cookies to candy can be added to make it pop! I’m hoping to share many more tasty treats for you all in the future!
