Hi friends, I’m Kandace!
I’m a Kansas City gal who relocated to East TN in 2022.
I’ve specialized in weddings, branding and lifestyle portrait photography since I began my career nearly a decade ago.
After spending the last year exploring the mountains and documenting memories with my fiancé, I became a licensed Great Smoky Mountain National Park photographer so I can capture locals and travelers who want to photograph their time in Smokies just like us.
Why did I move away from my hometown to relocate to East TN?
The short answer is
When I left my eight year career in the foster care field to focus solely on my photography business in April 2022, I decided to take an even bigger leap by moving across the country with the love of my life.
My fiancé was hired as the North District Supervisory Ranger in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you visit the Sugarlands Visitor Center, make sure you say “hello” to Dexter and his team!
Since leaving flat, familiar Missouri for mountainous Tennessee, I’ve gained a new appreciation for all the beauty nature has to offer us. Hiking, camping and taking pictures of our adventures in the Smokies has become one of our favorite ways to bond.
