Sierra & Katie | Engagement Session

At a time when worry and uncertainty filled our days, my session with Sierra and Katie filled my heart with so much joy. It’s amazing how the details fell into place for this shoot. Sierra told me they wanted to visit the location of their first date – Monarch Coffee. As a couple, Sierra & Katie love going to the theatre, getting coffee and visiting art museums. I suggested we make a quick stop at the Uptown Theatre before wrapping up at the Nelson Atkins Museum. 

I would soon realize that each of these places had a special memory tied to them. The Uptown Theatre was the last place Sierra & Katie went on a date before our city shut down; the Nelson Atkins Museum is where the proposal occurred. Thank you both for allowing me to capture your incredibly sweet story & love!
