Our Cades Cove (Tennessee) Camping Experience
Our second annual camping trip was a huge success! Although we’d love to go camping as frequently as possible, we agreed that our yearly tradition will be to plan at least one camping getaway.
Our favorite upgrades this year were an air mattress, sleeping bags (20 below) and my hiking boots.
I’ve been through the loop with Dexter twice before, but something about our drive today felt different. We didn’t see many animals, but the views were incredible, the temperature was perfect and we beat the crowd.
We both got some of the best sleep we’ve had in a while. I used to think a trip to the beach is what a vacation looked like, but spending the afternoon by the fire honestly feels like paradise to me.
I’m having a hard time deciding which moments to frame. We captured so many great photos with my new mirrorless camera!
I wasn’t able to capture a sign for Sheila & Vergil, but here are two other couples who we enjoyed our afternoon conversations with.
