Mountain View Family Photos in Gatlinburg, Tennessee
If there’s one thing we’ve had plenty of within the last couple weeks in the Smoky Mountains, it’s rain!
This sweet family mini session took place during one of the rainiest weeks of the season. Even though it was bright and sunny when we arrived at this beautiful Gatlinburg overlook, a light sprinkle started almost as soon as we stepped out of the car. Thankfully, after a few minutes of waiting, the storm cloud drifted past and gave us just enough time to capture some beautiful family memories.
I’m so glad we decided to move this session up a little earlier than originally planned because within an hour of finishing, the skies turned dark and cloudy, and the rain came pouring down.
Mom, Dad, and their adorable little girl were absolute troopers, and you’d never know we were keeping one eye on the weather the entire time! Between the mountain views, sweet family snuggles, and lots of smiles, we ended up with a gallery full of memories that were completely worth the wait.
The Smokies always seem to keep us on our toes, but sometimes those unpredictable mountain days turn into some of my favorite sessions.
