FAQ

I monitor the forecast days and even hours leading up to your session. In the event that conditions aren’t suitable to take photos, you will always be told ahead of time and I’ll have a back up plan to propose to you. 

80% of my clients are travelers from out of town, so I understand you have little time to capture this special moment! I might have an alternative location in mind like your cabin or I may be able to offer another time on the same date if it’s a clear window. 

Just know I’m going to do my absolute best to make it happen! The weather is unreliable, but I am not! 

I always try to deliver images before the due date (within 14 days). If you have an urgent need for the photos, I do allow a “rush edit” for an additional rate. This will put you at the top of my priority list and guarantee delivery by your deadline!

Absolutely! Additional photos are $5 per image.

The short answer is no. I prefer a natural editing style and don’t do heavy retouching. If you have a few blemishes or your child has scars, I’m happy to remove those in your photos, however, it is never my desire to alter the appearance of my clients. I want you to feel comfortable showing off who you are at this time in life, no matter what that looks like!

I’m happy to meet with you virtually via phone or video conference before our shoot to go over details, questions, etc! 

I have no plans to host mini sessions in the foreseeable future. Apologies for the inconvenience! 

I do have experience shooting events such as baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers, company social gathers and retirement parties. Event photography ranges from $350 to $500 per hour. If you are interested in wedding event photography of any kind, please refer the the “weddings” page! 

I generally do not exceed a 20 mile radius for portrait sessions. If you would like to shoot at a location that’s farther, I do allow the option to add a travel fee to cover the extra mileage and time spent driving.

The Process

Step 1

Shoot me an email to begin coordinating your shoot. We will discuss details, location and handle all the paper work digitally.

Step 2

Wear an outfit you feel super comfortable in and prepare for a relaxed session. We will likely do a combination of traditional and candid shots.

Step 3

All KLY mini & standard session galleries are guaranteed within 14 days, but I will always try to deliver them sooner when possible!
