Exploring The Smoky Mountains With Mommy | Gatlinburg Family Photographer
This sweet pair stole my heart during their Smoky Mountain nature trail session! I love letting my clients be a little adventurous and when you’re a boy mom it seems to be unavoidable. 
We all got our feet a bit wet and dirty for this session, but it was totally worth it! Mom got the tender moments she wanted for their memories and her adorable son got to splash around as much as his little heart desired. I think that’s a pretty fair trade!
We actually had a wildlife sighting as well! Don’t be alarmed if that doesn’t sound too exciting to you; I’ve been capturing families on this trail for the last few years and this is the first time one of our furry friends made an appearance.
Why Nature Trail Sessions Are Extra Special
You would think that an area surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery would be calm and serene, but Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but with this being the most visited national park in the United States and Gatlinburg being a popular vacation spot, it gets pretty busy around here. Nature trail sessions allow an opportunity to get away from all the hustle and bustle. There’s very low foot traffic on this trail and typically limited interruptions. Most of the time you barely even notice the cars driving on the nearby road. This photo experience truly allows you to disconnect from the world for a moment to reconnect with your loved ones.
