Affordable Easter Basket DIY for Kids ($10 or less!)

I decided to make d.i.y. Easter baskets for my niece and nephews who range from toddler to elementary school age. I gave myself a $50 budget ($10 per child) and was able to create an adorable custom basket for each kiddo!

Tips & Ideas:

  • If you’re gifting baskets to more than one child, try to find items in bulk rather than individual items to save money.
  • If you don’t want to load up the kids with tons of sugar, try finding snacks (like the peanut butter crackers) that can substitute candy.
  • Adding special items in eggs such as dollar bills could be an exciting addition for older kids!
  • Although general “stocking/basket stuffer” items are fun and festive, I think it’s a good idea to add at least one special item based on the child’s personal interests, hobbies, etc.
