I decided to make d.i.y. Easter baskets for my niece and nephews who range from toddler to elementary school age. I gave myself a $50 budget ($10 per child) and was able to create an adorable custom basket for each kiddo!
Tips & Ideas:
If you’re gifting baskets to more than one child, try to find items in bulk rather than individual items to save money.
If you don’t want to load up the kids with tons of sugar, try finding snacks (like the peanut butter crackers) that can substitute candy.
Adding special items in eggs such as dollar bills could be an exciting addition for older kids!
Although general “stocking/basket stuffer” items are fun and festive, I think it’s a good idea to add at least one special item based on the child’s personal interests, hobbies, etc.
